The Young Leaders Steering Committee, which consists of 12 producer members, 8 M&S members and three officers, governs the activities and events of the Young Leaders program. Members can serve up to two consecutive three-year terms, and there can only be one Steering Committee member from any one dues-paying NSSGA member at a time. A term is from one Young Leaders Annual Meeting to the next, and at the conclusion of each event, all members of Young Leaders are welcome to apply for a Young Leaders Steering Committee vacancy.
