About the Hotel
The paint had barely dried when guests and curious local residents crowded into The Broadmoor for its June 29, 1918, gala grand opening. Visitors found the lobby, halls, restaurants and 350 guest rooms exquisitely decorated and furnished, with appointments personally selected by Julie Penrose, wife of Broadmoor founder Spencer Penrose.
Guests enjoyed tea and afternoon dancing in the ballroom, music from a string quartet in the dining room, as well as taking a dip in the 100,000-gallon indoor swimming pool.
While much has changed at The Broadmoor more than a century later, one essential aspect remains the same: the resort's unwavering commitment to providing an exceptional experience for its guests, including unique activities and amenities to delight the modern traveler.
Room Block
Our room block rate is $479/night, before applicable taxes or fees.
The last date to book a room in our block is Monday, May 4. After this date please contact us at meetings@nssga.org with needed check-in and out dates to see if there is any availability.
Please note, all credit cards will be charged one night's room and tax deposit immediately. Rates are European Plan (no meals) and do not include 10.20% tax and 2.95% Private Infrastructure Fee, a Daily Resort Charge of $45.00 per night plus tax will be added to the nightly room rate. Cancellation Policy
In order to prevent a cancellation or change fee of one night's room rate, cancellation or changes in arrival and/or departure date must be confirmed no later than seven (7) days prior to your arrival date.
Hotel Amenities
Located in The Broadmoor’s Main Tower and Eastmoor buildings, our Classic Main Complex rooms offer European-inspired décor brimming with timeless elegance. Enjoy cozy evenings on the overstuffed chairs surrounded by classical armoires, warm color schemes, and luxurious touches. All rooms are non-smoking and 325-450 sq ft. Upgraded/larger rooms are available for a fee.
Daily Resort Charge
In an effort to add value and simplify incidental fees encompassing a number of services, offerings and activity access, a daily resort charge of $45.00 per room plus tax will be added to your account nightly. The Daily Resort Charge includes:
- Wired and wireless high-speed internet access up to 20 MB
- Local calls and toll free calls up to one hour
- Online access to over 7,000 newspapers and magazines
- Unlimited access to our Fitness Center
- Two daily group fitness classes: Early Bird Aquatics and Broadmoor Bootcamp
- All incoming faxes
- Resort and activity shuttle service to Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Starsmore Visitor and Nature Center, The Broadmoor World Arena, and The Broadmoor Seven Falls
- Admission to movies and select matinees in The Little Theater
- In-room hot beverage program: teas, coffee, hot chocolate
- Two complimentary bottled waters per room
- Art and History Tour: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, at 10:30 am
- Golf Clinic: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, at 3:00 pm (Seasonal)
- Tennis Round Robins: Wednesdays and Saturdays at 4:00 pm (Summer); Fridays at 5:00 pm in the Tennis Bubble (Spring/Fall/Winter)
