About the Call for Proposals

Thank you for your interest in participating in the 2025 AGG1 Academy. NSSGA depends on member subject-matter experts like you to deliver valuable education to our attendees. Please read through the following sections carefully to ensure you understand the proposal submission process.

Topic proposals are due Friday, July 19. Live, on-site classes will take place March 25-27, 2025, in St. Louis.

Proposal Process

NSSGA members are invited to submit proposals detailing case studies, addressing best practices, including lessons learned and challenges remaining, and imparting new skills and information in key topic tracks:

  • Operations & Production
  • Safety & Health
  • Environment & Sustainability
  • Business & People Management

See more track details here. Once the Call for Proposals closes on July 19, members of NSSGA's Meetings & Events Committee will review and score all proposals. Then, the committee will choose the final program. You will be notified of your proposal's status by late August.

Requirements

All proposals must adhere to the following guidelines

  • Presenting an AGG1 Academy session is limited to NSSGA members only.
  • Product presentations/sales pitches are not permitted. AGG1 Academy sessions should address best practices, case studies, lessons learned and/or challenges remaining in key topic areas.
  • Manufacturers & Services Division members are strongly encouraged to include a customer/producer as a co-presenter.
  • You must use the AGG1 PowerPoint template for your slides (provided to you if accepted).
  • You must agree to adhere to all deadlines if accepted.
