Any NSSGA member is welcome to register.
What is the cost to attend?
The registration fee for this workshop is $695.
What is the workshop all about?
The workshop is intended to train workers in the aggregates industry how to conduct noise and dust sampling at quarry operations.
When is the event?
The event takes place on August 27-29, 2024.
Where is the event?
The workshop will be taking place at the John S. Lane & Son, Inc. facility in Westfield, MA.
Where is the quarry located?
The John S. Lane & Son facility is located at 311 E Mountain Rd, Westfield, MA 01085.
What PPE is required?
Participants will just need to bring safety toed work boots (composite is fine). The facility will provide hard hats, safety glasses, vest or retro reflective apparel. You are also welcome to bring your own if you so wish.
What meals will be provided?
The welcome dinner will be included in your registration. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all three days of the workshop.
Is there a limit to the number of participants?
Yes! The workshop is limited to 15 participants so register early!

What is the refund/cancellation policy?
All cancellations submitted by August 5, 2024 will be charged a $75 cancellation fee and refunded the remaining amount paid. No refunds will be given after August 5. If you wish to transfer your registration to someone, you may do so at no cost. Contact meetings@nssga.org to arrange any registration transfers.
Will there be future workshops?
Yes! We are planning one for the Chicago-area this fall, stay tuned for November dates!
