Federal-aid funding is critical to the successful implementation of transportation projects around the country.  The recent implementation of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) also known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) continues a long tradition of partnering with state and local agencies as well as the construction industry to deliver the Federal-Aid Highway Program.  This interactive session will provide an overview of federal highway funding, describe the role of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), and provide highlights of the BIL and how it fits within the history of the Federal-Aid Highway Program (FAHP).
