Q: What kind of registration packages are available for the NRMCA/NSSGA/PCA Annual Conventions?

A: There are several registration packages available depending on which association’s convention(s) you would like to attend:

  • NRMCA Only: permits access to all NRMCA Annual Convention and joint association activities not requiring a separate fee

  • NSSGA Only: permits access to all NSSGA Annual Convention and joint association activities not requiring a separate fee

  • PCA Only: permits access to all PCA Annual Convention and joint association activities not requiring a separate fee

  • NRMCA & NSSGA Annual Conventions: permits access to all NRMCA, NSSGA and joint association activities not requiring a separate fee

  • NRMCA & PCA Annual Conventions: permits access to all NRMCA, NSSGA and joint association activities not requiring a separate fee

  • NSSGA & PCA Annual Conventions: permits access to all NSSGA, PCA and joint association activities not requiring a separate fee

  • NRMCA, NSSGA & PCA Annual Conventions: Permits access to all NSSGA, NRMCA, PCA and joint association activities not requiring a separate fee

  • PMD Pass: The Pulverized Minerals Division pass, offered by NSSGA, only allows entry into the PMD Executive Committee meeting on Tuesday, March 14 and the overall PMD Meeting on Wednesday, March 15.

  • Guest Pass: Guest passes are only available to non-industry individuals/spouses. If you work in the aggregates industry and select this pass, you will be subject to pass change and payment for the fee difference before a badge will be issued to you. This pass includes entry into receptions for the convention(s) selected, the joint community service opportunities, access to the joint guest hospitality lounge, and if applicable according to your pass, NSSGA's ROCKPAC event (only open to ROCKPAC donors). There is also an option to add-on our K9 Wynn event for an additional fee.

 

Q: How can I book my hotel room? What are your hotel block policies?

A: Hotel rooms in our block are only available to those who have registered for any of the joint annual conventions. The button for booking a room will be visible on your confirmation page after registration is completed and paid for. Staff will frequently audit the rooming list against our registration list. Anyone found in our hotel block without a completed, paid joint annual convention registration (for NRMCA, NSSGA, and/or PCA) will be removed from the block and the reservation will be canceled at our discretion. If you select any joint passes, you will have the option to choose which association's room block dates best fit your needs.

 

Q: I would like to attend CONEXPO-CON/AGG. Can I register for that through your website?

A: Yes! NRMCA, NSSGA and PCA are pleased to offer discounted association partner pricing for CONEXPO-CON/AGG. You can select CONEXPO-CON/AGG as an add-on when you are registering for the NRMCA/NSSGA/PCA Annual Conventions. You can also purchase education pass add-ons with us. Badge/education purchase through our site ends on Thursday, March 2, 2023. Your CONEXPO-CON/AGG confirmation email (the date at which you will receive is detailed in the question below) will include a link to purchase any additional items not offered on our site, including discounted monorail tickets, a 4 education session pass ($179), a single education session ticket ($69), and the education leadership series.

 

Q: I have not received my CONEXPO-CON/AGG confirmation email yet. When can I expect to get it?

A: CONEXPO-CON/AGG registration confirmations will be issued by a separate registration company/system. Please note the confirmations are not automatic. If you register by Dec. 5, 2022, you will receive your confirmation around Dec. 9, 2022. If you register between Dec. 6, 2022 and Jan. 9, 2023, you will receive your confirmation around Jan. 13, 2023. If you register between Jan. 10, 2023 and Feb. 6, 2023, you will receive your confirmation around Feb. 13, 2023. If you register between Feb. 7, 2023 and March 2, 2023, you will receive your confirmation around March 9, 2023. Q: Does my convention badge also get me into CONEXPO-CON/AGG?

A: No, they are two separate badges. If you register for CONEXPO-CON/AGG as an add-on to your convention registration, you must pick up your CONEXPO-CON/AGG badge at a separate location. A list of these locations will be made available soon. Please note that no badge pick-up will be available at the Encore.

 

Q: I’m not a member. Can I still attend?

A: Yes, you may register for NRMCA, NSSGA or joint passes between the two associations. PCA does not allow non-members to attend. Nonmembers may register but must pay the nonmember registration fee. Membership with NRMCA and NSSGA will be automatically detected when you enter your email address at the beginning of registration. PCA membership is not auto detected, but you may select the PCA Member registration type if applicable to you. If you believe you have been mistakenly taken to the non-member fee page, please contact us at meetings@nssga.org. 

 

Q: I’m a member of one association, but not the others. How should I register?

A: If you are a member of one of NRMCA or PCA, your email will be detected as the member registration type, even if you are attending more than one association’s convention. For example, an attendee who is a member of NRMCA but not NSSGA may register at the member rate for the NRMCA & NSSGA Annual Conventions. If you believe your membership has not been recognized by the system, please contact us at meetings@nssga.org. PCA membership can not be automatically detected, thus you will have to self-select if you are a PCA member.

 

Q: I tried to register, but the system did not recognize me as a member. Why?

A: There are a few possible reasons for this scenario:

  • Membership is validated by your email address. If you used an email address ending in @gmail.com, @hotmail.com, @yahoo.com, @aol.com, etc, your membership will not be recognized. You MUST use your work/company/professional email address when registering to get our member rates.
  • If you joined any of the associations recently (for the first time), we may not have you in our registration system yet. Please contact us at meetings@nssga.org and we will verify your membership through the correct channels to get you in the system, and at the correct registration rate. If our lag time causes you to be pushed into a later registration date, and consequently a higher registration price, we will honor the registration rate at the time you first contacted us.
  • Membership with the associations is on a company-level (i.e. if your company is a member, you, as an employee, by default are also a member). Your company's membership with an association may have lapsed. You can always contact meetings@nssga.org or meetings@nrmca.org to verify your company's membership status.
  • PCA membership is not detected automatically in our system. You can self-select the registration type "PCA Member" when registering to get your member rate.

 

Q: Is there a registration deadline?

A: While there is no registration deadline, we recommend that attendees register by the convention(s) early bird deadline of Friday, Jan.13, 2023 to take advantage of early discounts for convention admission passes. CONEXPO-CON/AGG badge prices will also increase over time (different dates) so please view our fees page to see the fee schedule.

 

Q: What is the cancellation, refund and substitution policy?

A: All convention cancellation requests must be received in writing by 11:59 p.m. PST on Friday, Feb. 10, 2023 and will be refunded less a $100 processing fee. Cancellations after this date will not be refunded. Substitutions and name changes will be granted at no charge through the event dates. Please note CONEXPO-CON/AGG badge and education session purchases are non-refundable, as per show policy.
