Libby is the Senior Director of Sales and Business Development at Specialty Granules, headquartered in Hagerstown, Maryland. Prior to joining SGI, Libby was at the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association where she represented the aggregates industry nationwide and led safety, occupational health, workforce development and sustainability efforts. She has two Master's degrees from Oregon State University in Policy and Geomorphology; worked as a Social Scientist for the National Science Foundation; and got her start in mining doing EHS work for Wildish San & Gravel, a small family owned and operated aggregates company in Eugene, Oregon. Libby is a mediator, facilitator, and has owned a small conflict management & training business since 2016 conducting workshops for mining companies, government agencies, and universities.
