Nick Scala is a Partner with Conn Maciel Carey LLP, where he serves as Chair of the firm’s national MSHA Practice, and as partner in the OSHA workplace safety practice group. Nick defends employers in the full range of litigation with the MSHA / OSHA, including litigation before the OSHRC and FMSHRC. He counsels clients in all aspects MSHA / OSHA compliance and through routine inspections, as well as serious accident, whistleblower, and agent liability investigations. He is a Certified Mine Safety Professional, and prior to practicing law worked as a construction laborer and miner.
