Full Name
Erin Weed
Job Title
Speaker, Author, Leadership Coach, and Creator of The Dig
Speaker Bio
Erin Weed has spent 25 years helping leaders claim the truth of who they are — then communicate it in ways that change lives and drive results. She is the creator of The Dig, a structured process that excavates life stories to identify patterns, reveal a leader’s One-Word Purpose, and translate it into an authentic message, keynote, and platform.
As a longtime TEDx speaker coach (13 years), Erin has guided hundreds of speakers to deliver talks that spark movements. She has built programs inside Google, advised founders and executives across industries. Her work sits at the intersection of purpose, leadership, and communication — giving audiences practical tools to lead with integrity, speak with power, and scale a message without losing their soul.
Previously, Erin founded Girls Fight Back!, a social venture teaching women’s personal safety. She launched the company in response to the tragic 2001 murder of her sorority sister, Shannon McNamara. Until its acquisition in 2013, her team reached over one million women worldwide at live events. Erin lives in Colorado and speaks globally. Her book Just One Word (Hachette, May 2026) is available wherever books are sold.
